Dismantling Race IQ

If you spend virtually any time listening to the alt-right, you know that one of their main go-to arguments for ethno-nationalism is the relationship of race to IQ. This goes something to the tune of "Certain races have a lower average IQ, so it makes sense to discriminate based on race."

This is a little more niche of a topic that I usually cover, but I want to spend a little time today dismantling this claim.

Luther's Greatest Hits

500 years ago today, Martin Luther infamously nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenberg church. This was the start of a revolution now known as the Protestant Reformation.


I considered several different options of what to write in celebration of this historic occasion. A brief biography of Martin Luther? An exposé of his 95 Theses? His contributions to modern thought?

But, in reflecting on his many works, I thought it best to just sit back and let the man himself do the talking...
